Now, I hate to be THAT person, buuuuuuuuut….
There’s only x days / weeks till Christmas! [insert your favourite Christmas emoji]
In my experience, there’s a couple of different personalities when it comes to the festive season:
THE LISTER: loves to get their shopping done early. Typically can manage it with a couple of online sprees and a single visit to the shopping centre (which has been carefully planned to avoid mindless browsing).
THE PROCRASTINATOR: likes to say they’re a lister…. But leaves it until December 1 to start, then complains they’ve got no time to be organised and winds up doing multiple trips right up until Christmas eve. Oh, and they also forgot to buy sticky tape, so the pressies are coming rustic style this year! #truth
THE REBEL: a super chill magician who somehow manages to plan, shop and wrap every gift (without forgetting a single thing) in a Pinterest board worthy style all in the 2 days before Christmas.
The PARTNER: doesn’t understand why everyone is so stressed over Christmas shopping, because it’s never a problem in their household. {insert confused emoji} Loves present time on the day, because the gifts are as much a surprise to them as they are to the recipient… #thanksbabe.
As much as I wish I wasn’t, I’m a name your type.
